Prior to becoming the Manager of One Fair World in March 2009, I co-owned the Words Lovely Words Gift Shoppe on Commercial Street in Salem for nine years.

Except for the manager, One Fair World is run entirely by volunteers, including the Board of Directors who generously contribute their talent, time and energy to the store. If you think you might be interested in volunteering at the store

One Fair World (formerly Ten Thousand Villages) in Salem, Oregon, is a fair trade, not-for-profit retailer of quality, artisan-crafted home décor, accessories, candles, personal care items, jewelry, musical instruments, cards, stationery, baskets, carvings, as well as some food products such as coffee, chocolate, cocoa and tea.
